Hong Kong Chinese Iporters’ & Exporters’ Association

Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association was established in 1954 and has brought together a large number of professionals in the business and trade and import and export trade.

The association has nearly 4,000 members now and is one of the major chambers of commerce in Hong Kong. The current president is Zhang Xuexiu, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. It is the most representative chamber of commerce in the import and export sector. It has a large number of members of the SAR government election committee. Many members participate as the NPC deputies, the committee member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the provincial and municipal CPPCC committees. They are the most directly communication bridge between the industry and government departments.
